Who we are
The Swiss Initiative for RNA & Disease (SIRD) is a non-profit scientific association established in March 2026 to continue and expand the successful network of the NCCR RNA & Disease .
SIRD brings together researchers across Switzerland to foster collaboration and advance RNA research in health and disease. The initiative promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, supports young scientists and strengthens Switzerland’s position as a hub for RNA biology.

The SIRD Office supports the association’s administration, coordination and community activities.
